About
The general definition for ‘Tonic’ is something that has a revitalizing effect. It restores, strengthens and refreshes. Tonic Dance Company’s main mission is to do just that, strengthen and restore the dance community. TDC is a dance training service for young athletes and adult dancers. We specialize in preparing dancers for the stage but we have a variety of classes just for fun. If you are looking for quality training through group classes or personalized practice, TDC is the right fit for you. ‘Our made to move’ Dance program is for ages 2 to 12. This program travels to different learning centers and offers students an opportunity to learn and grow their dance skills in the comfort of their school. Our ‘Divine feminine’ dance program is for ages 17 and up this program is for individuals looking to build confidence and master their feminine power through heel dance. The Devine feminine heels class will be hosted on the first weekend of each month. TDC is huge on community! We encourage our students to try other studios, explore new teachers as this is the best way to build a well rounded dancer. We work closely with local dance studios to provide a third-party training service for their instructors and students. We also offer Choreography and direction for events, shows, video production and competitions.

Tiara James; founder
Tiara Started Tonic Dance Company in 2019, with a vision of helping woman find themselves and grow their confidence though the art of dance. Hosting Heel dance classes and assisting in projects for musical artist was where the business found the most success. After having a child and becoming a single mother, she realized the limited opportunity children have if they dont come from money. Parents are paying way over what they should for their child to receive quality dance education. While the focus is still heavy on helping woman find themselves through dance; The vision has shifted to providing performance opportunities for young dreamers. TDC is about community, mentorship and fostering that love for movement.She encourages collaboration with multiple studios and educators. Regardless the age of her students, Tiara focuses on implementing technique, coordination, creativity and confidence.
